About UrnWorth
UrnWorth was founded by Adrien Hunter, a funeral director and embalmer licensed in Washington State. Adrien has spent more than fifteen years in funeral service, helping families make memorial decisions in person long before this site existed. That background shapes everything here, not just the products we carry, but how we think about the decision itself.
Why we started this
Most people shopping for an urn have never done it before and hope they never have to again. That's exactly the kind of decision that benefits from someone who has walked thousands of families through it as a funeral director, not a generic retailer working from a spec sheet.
So instead of listing everything a catalog has to offer, every product here was selected by a licensed funeral director based on its materials, construction, capacity, and the manufacturer's track record. Our products come from an established memorial supplier with a twenty-year history, which Adrien has worked with for nineteen years. What's on this site is a curated selection, not the full range of what exists.
What that means for you
- ✓ Every product was selected by a licensed funeral director before it was added to our collection
- ✓ Sizing, material, and capacity information is listed clearly on every product, not buried in fine print
- ✓ If you have questions a product page doesn't answer, you can call or email and reach a real person with experience in this field
What we're not
We're not a funeral home, and we don't handle cremation, burial, or funeral arrangements directly. We're a retailer, focused on the physical part of this decision, the urn, the keepsake, the piece that stays with you afterward. For arrangements themselves, your funeral home remains the right place to start.
