Ceramic Urns

Hand-glazed ceramic urns with the kind of depth and texture only kiln-fired pieces have. Each glaze finish is a little different, which is part of what makes them feel personal.

Ceramic belongs indoors. It is stable and solid on a shelf, but it will chip if it goes over, and frost is hard on a glaze, so keep these off a porch and out of a garden. Size on body weight before death at roughly one cubic inch per pound, so a 170 lb adult wants about 170 cu in. Glazed surfaces will not take engraving; if you want a name cut into the urn itself, look at metal, stone or wood instead.
