Thundering Moose Raku

Moose and a treeline circle this raku urn, set against the crackled ground that comes out of a raku kiln. The pot is fired, drawn out hot, and smoked, so the background shifts from one piece to the next while the motif stays where it is. It tends to be chosen for someone who hunted, guided, or spent their weekends in the north woods.

Roughly 8 inches tall and 7.5 inches across, adult sized, with a lid that lifts off the top. Keep it somewhere it will not be knocked, since fired ceramic chips if it lands on a hard floor. Dust it with a dry cloth and do not soak it or run it under a tap.
