Horses run across the glazed surface of this Raku urn, 7.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall, set against copper and midnight tones that shift with the light. The crackled finish comes from pulling the piece out of the kiln hot and letting it cool fast, so the web of fine lines is unique to each urn. It loads from the top.

Adult capacity in a ceramic body meant for a mantel, a shelf, or a memorial table indoors. It is not made for burial or for outdoor placement. To fill it, lift the lid and set the sealed bag of ashes inside; most families leave the lid resting in place rather than fixing it down, which keeps the option open to divide ashes later.
