The urn takes 210 cubic inches, sized to an adult of roughly 210 pounds or less. Ashes go in through a bottom opening. At 9.5 inches long, 6 deep and 7.75 tall it suits a mantel, a bookshelf or a low cabinet; measure the depth of that surface before it arrives.
