Measuring 25 by 28 millimeters and just over a millimeter thick, the Alba Heart is a flat gold pendant rather than a rounded, puffed one. That thinness is deliberate: it sits close to the skin and does not swing forward when you lean over. The face is smooth gold with a soft polish.
It holds a token amount of ashes, well under a cubic inch, in a chamber closed by a threaded fitting. Think of it as something to keep close rather than as the place the ashes live; the rest belong in an urn or a scattering. Filling takes a few minutes with the funnel included in the box.
