Fingerprint jewelry works differently from an ash pendant. The Alba Oval carries a reproduced fingerprint on its face — a real print, taken from an impression, with the ridges showing as fine lines across the oval. The pendant is 10K gold over a steel core, so it wears harder than soft gold alone.
Nothing about this piece holds ashes. There is no chamber and no capacity figure, so if you need a wearable that carries a portion, choose a pendant with a stated capacity instead. What this one does is keep a physical trace of the person on you every day. Allow extra time in the order, because the print has to be captured and sent before the piece can be made.
- Fingerprint impression on the face, with no ash chamber inside
- 10K gold over steel; a plain oval with no stone setting
- Gold over steel takes daily wear, though the print lines soften if it is polished hard
Materials: Gold Steel
Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
