Always Silver Heart With Pink Stones

Pink stones follow the curve of the heart, set close together so they catch light from the side as well as head on. The body underneath is silver, an inch tall, and the stones stop short of the bail so the chain runs clean. Settings this small do collect dust, and a soft brush clears them in a moment.

The chamber holds a quarter of a cubic inch, which is a token pinch of ashes rather than any real share of them. Filling is from the top: the bail end unscrews, the funnel goes in, and it closes again. If it is going to be worn daily, have a jeweler seal the threads rather than relying on the fit of the cap alone.
