Artisanal Brass Keepsake

Four cubic inches of solid brass, three inches tall and an inch and a half across. The top unscrews cleanly, so filling happens from above with a small funnel. The finish is a warm polished brass that holds its color with nothing more than a dry cloth now and then.

A keepsake this size takes a token portion of ashes, not a full set. Families usually order one alongside a full-size urn, or buy several so each sibling has one to keep. It is small enough for a nightstand, a bookshelf, or a drawer, and nothing about its shape announces what it holds.
