August w/ Peridot Sterling Silver Keepsake

Taller and narrower than the round August disc, this version stands about an inch and an eighth high by three quarters of an inch wide, and it opens at the top instead of the side. The peridot sits on the upright face, where it catches light from above rather than straight on.

Choose between the two mainly on the closure. A top screw is quicker to open and close but interrupts the top edge; a side screw keeps the outline clean. Either way the capacity is the same token amount, well under a cubic inch. Fill it, hand tighten the top, and take it to a jeweler for a permanent seal if you want one.
