Beloved Hearts Silver Keepsake

Twin hearts overlap on the face of this pendant, one set slightly behind the other so the silver catches light at two depths. It measures half an inch across and three quarters of an inch tall, which is small enough to sit flat under a collar and stay there all day. Nothing about the front of it announces what it is.

Filling happens from the back, through a threaded opening that rests against the skin once it is on. Capacity is about a quarter of a cubic inch, roughly a spoonful, so treat it as a portion kept close rather than the whole of what you were given. Families often order two or three of these so that siblings each carry the same piece.
