Buyers who need something small for a scattering at sea come to this one first: a flat blue paper urn, six by five and a half inches, two inches deep. The colour is a plain mid-blue with no pattern over it.
It holds 59 cubic inches. That is a full set for a child or a pet under about 59 pounds, and a share of the ashes for an adult, since a set needs roughly one cubic inch for every pound of body weight. A side opening takes the fill. On the water it floats briefly, then draws water and goes under, and the paper breaks down from there.
- 59 cu in; check that against the weight before you order
- Side opening for filling flat on a table
- Inexpensive enough to order several when ashes are being divided

Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
