Celestial Pewter Infant Urn

Aluminum in a pewter finish, with a celestial pattern worked into the surface. The urn is three inches square at the base and 5.5 inches tall, small enough to hold in two hands and light enough to lift with one. Ashes load from the top rather than through a threaded base.

Capacity is 20 cubic inches. For an infant that is more than sufficient: at one cubic inch per pound of body weight, 20 cu in covers a baby or a very young child with room left over, and some families use that room for a lock of hair or a folded note. It fits a niche, a shelf, or a burial vault.
