Mahogany runs redder than walnut and carries a smoother, more even grain, which is the reason to choose the Chalet over the darker woods on this site. It is a low rectangular urn, 9.75 inches long, 6.75 deep and 5.63 tall, with a plain face and nothing applied to it.
Capacity is 220 cubic inches, so it suits an adult up to about 220 pounds. Ashes go in through the bottom. Under 6 inches tall, it fits inside most columbarium niches and under most shelves, and the unbroken front leaves plenty of room for an engraved name and dates if you want them.
- 220 cu in, matching an adult up to roughly 220 lb
- Under 6 inches tall, which clears most shelves and most niches
- Free ground shipping at this order value; mahogany deepens in colour with age, so the red tone warms rather than fades

Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
