Clifton Brass Urn

The Clifton is plain polished brass, ten and a half inches tall, with a body that tapers gently into a small ribbed foot. Nothing is painted or enamelled, so the finish is the metal itself and it will warm in colour over the years. In a room it reads quieter than a coloured urn does.

It holds 220 cubic inches, enough for an adult up to roughly 220 pounds, and it opens at the top. Brass is heavy for its size, which is worth knowing if the urn will be carried at a service or lowered into a burial plot. For a niche, check the shelf height first: 10.5 inches is on the taller side.
