Companion Turtle Biodegradable Water Burial Urn

The turtle on the lid gives this one its name, moulded into a pressed paper body that is made to dissolve. Like the rest of the water burial range it is a low, broad shape, sixteen by fourteen inches and four inches deep, which is what keeps it stable on the surface instead of tipping as it leaves your hands.

Its 480 cubic inches hold two people, working on the standard of one cubic inch of urn for each pound of body weight, so roughly 240 pounds apiece. The side opening makes filling straightforward, and the urn is closed again before the service. Once launched it stays up briefly and then sinks by itself; nothing has to be weighted, pushed under, or forced.
