Dad Steel Heart Pendant Keepsake

Dad is set across the face of this stainless steel heart, three quarters of an inch wide and an inch tall. The steel is polished rather than brushed, so it catches light against a shirt. It fills from the top, which is the easier of the two loading styles to manage on a kitchen table.

Capacity is a quarter of a cubic inch: a small measure of ashes, a lock of hair, or a little sand from a place he liked. It does not hold a full set and is not meant to. The necklace arrives with a chain and a funnel; work over a sheet of paper, tap the funnel to settle the ashes, then close it.
