December w/ Blue Topaz Stainless Steel Keepsake

Blue topaz gives the December piece a pale, cool blue, lighter than the September sapphire and closer to the color of a winter sky than of deep water. It is set into a stainless steel body one inch high with a heart worked into the front. Steel takes the finish to a mirror, which brightens the stone further.

The chamber is filled from the top and takes a token portion of ashes. Keepsakes this size are bought in twos and threes so that a family can each keep a small amount, with the rest in a main urn or scattered. Do not plan on this holding a full set, because the numbers simply do not work at an inch tall.
