Dog Bone Steel Keepsake

A flat stainless steel bone, about an inch across, polished bright and shaped like the tag that hung from your dog's collar. Steel was chosen here because it does not tarnish or dent easily, so the piece survives being carried in a pocket, clipped to keys, or handled every day. The face is left plain, which leaves room for a name.

Capacity is around 0.5 cubic inches, which is a token amount of ashes rather than the whole set. Most families use it next to a full size pet urn, or order two so a child or a partner can keep one as well. You fill it yourself at home with a small funnel, and a jeweler can seal the threads with adhesive if you would rather it never open again.
