Dolphin Biodegradable Companion Water Burial Urn

Two people fit in this one. At 480 cubic inches it takes a combined body weight of about 480 pounds, which covers most couples, and it is the reason families hold one set of ashes back until the second death and commit them together in a single ceremony.

The shell is a moulded paper product printed with dolphins, 16 inches long and 14 across but only 4 inches deep, so it lies flat on the surface for a minute or two before it takes on water and goes under. Ashes load through a side opening. US rules for burial at sea set a minimum distance of three nautical miles from shore, and a local boat captain will know the practice where you are.
