Dover Urn

Plain brass, no colour and no pattern: the Dover is the undecorated version of a shape that also comes in blue. The body is smooth from foot to shoulder and the lid seats flush against it. Ten and three quarter inches tall, it is a straightforward urn for a family that does not want the object to announce itself.

Two hundred cubic inches is the standard adult size and covers a person who weighed up to about 200 pounds. Take the lid off the top to fill it. Because there is no applied finish to scratch, this one travels better than a painted urn, which is worth weighing if it will be moved between homes or handed on.
