Fair Winds Blue Water Burial Biodegradable Urn

Fair Winds Blue is a boat-shaped water burial urn made from pressed paper and plant fiber, 17.5 inches long, in a soft blue with a fitted top. Nothing in it is plastic or metal, which is what lets it break down in water. The long hull is shaped to be carried to the water by hand.

It holds 220 cubic inches, so it takes the cremated remains of an adult up to about 220 pounds. This is a single-use urn for a service at sea or on a lake, not a display piece: once it is on the water it takes on water and goes down with the ashes inside. Bring it to the service already filled and closed.
