Gold Steel Beloved Hearts Keepsake

Side-threaded rather than top- or bottom-loading, this pendant hides its opening in the seam between two overlapping hearts. The larger heart sits behind, the smaller in front, both in gold-plated steel. It measures five-eighths of an inch wide and an inch tall.

Two hearts is the point. Couples buy it, and so do parents who lost a child. Capacity is around a quarter cubic inch, which is a token portion of ashes rather than a full set. The side screw is small, so fill it over a tray, and consider having a jeweler seal the threads once you are sure it is closed for good.
