Heaven's Care Blue Infant Urn

Low and wide rather than upright, this infant urn measures 7 by 4 inches and stands only 3.8 inches high. The wood carries a soft blue finish. Its shape reads more like a small chest than a vase, which some parents find easier to have in the room.

Capacity is 8 cubic inches, sized for an infant by the same rule that applies to adults: roughly one cubic inch per pound of body weight. Filling is done through the base, which unfastens and re-seats flush. If the urn is going into a niche or a cabinet, measure the depth as well as the width.
