Highland Cedar Small Pet Urn

Owners of medium and large dogs should read the capacity before the name on this one. Despite the word small in the title, it holds 100 cubic inches. The body is wood in a warm cedar tone, seven inches long and just under five inches tall, with square corners and a flat top that leaves room for a photo frame beside it.

The capacity rule for pets is the same as for people, roughly one cubic inch per pound of body weight, so 100 cubic inches covers a dog or cat up to about 100 pounds. Filling is done from underneath: the base plate comes off, the ashes go in, and the plate goes back on.
