July Light Red Steel Keepsake

Light red, closer to a soft carnelian than a deep ruby, fills the face of this July keepsake. The color is set into a polished stainless steel body five-eighths of an inch across, so the metal frames it as a thin bright ring. Held at arm's length it reads pink more than red.

This is a token keepsake. It takes a pinch of ashes, not a share and certainly not a full set, and most buyers order it as a second piece for a relative who lives away from wherever the main urn is kept. The screw top comes off in one direction and goes back the same way, with no tool needed at either end.
