June w/ Alexandrite Sterling Silver Keepsake

Alexandrite is the June birthstone, and here a single stone sits at the centre of a round sterling silver disc about an inch across. The gem shifts between green and a soft violet depending on the light it is under, which is the trait it is known for. The disc is flat backed, so it lies close against the chest.

A screw closure is set into the side of the rim rather than the top, leaving the front face uninterrupted. Inside there is room for a token portion of ashes, well under a cubic inch; this is not a piece that holds a full set. Fill it with the funnel supplied, then thread the screw back in by hand.
