Wider than it is tall, this urn runs 10.5 inches long by 8 deep and stands only 7.5 inches high. The stone is a muted blue with grey moving through it, polished smooth and left without any applied ornament.
Three hundred cubic inches of capacity puts it above the usual adult size, so it takes an adult of up to about 300 pounds with margin left over. Filling is done underneath through a sealed base opening, which also makes it straightforward to close up if the urn is going into the ground. The low profile works on a sideboard or a bookshelf where a tall urn would look out of scale.
