Purple runs through this stone in soft bands rather than sitting on top of it as a coat of color, which is why the depth of the shade changes as you move around the piece. The form is the wide, low Life Treasured body: 10.5 inches long, 8 deep, 7.5 high.
At 300 cubic inches it takes an adult of up to roughly 300 pounds, and it is filled through a threaded opening in the base rather than from above. That keeps the lid line clean and makes it simple to close up for burial. On a mantel it needs about ten and a half inches of clear run, which is more than a standard upright urn asks for.
