Love Heart Gold Steel Pendant

Hearts in this range differ mostly in depth and finish, and this is the tallest of them at an inch and a quarter, with a gently domed gold-finished face. The curve throws a highlight down one side instead of the flat sheen you get from a plate-thin pendant.

Capacity is a quarter of a cubic inch: a pinch of ashes to carry, with the balance kept elsewhere in a full-size urn. The top opening is set under the bail and disappears once the chain is on. Fill it with a small funnel over a sheet of paper so nothing is lost, then close it and wipe the metal down.
