Emerald green is a heavier green than peridot, and on a gold-toned field it looks it. The stone sits at the center of a pendant an inch wide and 1.13 inches tall, in steel polished to a warm finish rather than a mirror one, so the setting stays quiet behind the color.
Ashes go in at the top through a threaded fitting, and the volume is a pinch. If several people in the family want one, ordering by birth month gives each of them a piece that is theirs rather than a set of identical ones. Fill it once, seat the fitting firmly, and it can be worn without further handling.
