Modern Blue Brass Urn

Wider and taller than most urns on this site, this one measures 7.5 inches across and 11.5 inches to the top of the lid. The brass carries a flat modern blue, and the sides run straight rather than curving into the usual shoulder, which is what gives it the contemporary look. There is no ornament at all.

It holds 220 cubic inches, so an adult of up to about 220 pounds. Loading is from the top. The extra width is the thing to check before you order: many columbarium niches are cut for a 6.5 inch urn and will not take this one. On an open shelf or a mantel the proportions work well.
