Modern Red Urn

Red runs edge to edge on this one: a single saturated colour over brass, with no motif and no banding anywhere on the body. The shape is a plain tapered cylinder, 6.5 inches square through the middle and 10.5 inches tall, which is about as unfussy as an adult urn gets.

It takes 220 cubic inches, so it suits an adult up to roughly 220 lb. Brass gives it real weight, and this is not an urn that shifts when a door closes. It holds up in a niche or in the ground as well as on a mantel. The top unscrews for filling, and the crematory bag goes in whole.
