Nelson Antique Brass Urn

This antique finish darkens the brass to a deeper, browner gold and takes the shine off it, so the urn looks settled rather than new. The body is the rounded Nelson profile, 6.5 inches across and 10.5 inches tall, with a domed lid and no applied decoration.

Capacity is 200 cubic inches, the standard adult size, and it fits someone who weighed up to about 200 pounds. Ashes go in through the threaded plate underneath. If the urn is going into the ground or into a niche rather than staying on a mantel, the sealed base is the detail that matters; ask your cemetery whether an outer urn vault is required.
