Niche Size Brass Urn

Columbarium niches are wider than they are tall, and most adult urns are the opposite. This one is built the right way round: 7 inches long, 6.5 inches deep and just 5 inches high, in plain brass with a flat lid and no ornament to catch on the niche opening.

It still holds a full 200 cubic inches, so it takes the ashes of an adult who weighed up to about 200 pounds despite the low profile. Filling is from the bottom. Before you order, measure the inside of the niche rather than the door, and check with the cemetery whether they require the urn to be a particular finish or fastened in place.
