November w/ Citrine Sterling Silver Keepsake

Warm gold-orange is the whole character of citrine, and against polished sterling silver it looks closer to amber than to a bright yellow stone. November is its month. The setting is a round disc roughly an inch across, flat backed, worn on a chain rather than pinned or displayed.

A screw in the side of the rim opens the small chamber inside. It takes a token amount only, far less than a cubic inch, so treat it as a piece for carrying a little of someone rather than for storing ashes. Anyone who wants the closure made permanent can take it to a jeweler, who will put a drop of adhesive on the threads after filling.
