Straight sides and a flat shoulder give the Pershing its military bearing, which is where the name comes from. The brass is polished and left unpatterned, 1.75 inches square and 3 inches tall. The lid opens at the top on a thread.
Capacity is 5 cubic inches, slightly more than the 4 cu in standard at this size, though it is still a keepsake portion rather than a full set of ashes. Veterans' families often take one alongside a flag case, where plain brass sits well against the wood and the folded flag. It stands level without needing a base or a stand.
- Five cu in, a slightly larger keepsake portion than most in this range
- Plain polished brass; suits a flag case or shadow box shelf
- Polished brass dulls over years indoors, and a jeweler's cloth brings it back in minutes

Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
