Cast stone is a different proposition from wood or metal: matte, cool to the touch, with a faint surface texture that reads as natural rock rather than a manufactured finish. The Petra is a broad, low form measuring 10.5 inches long by 7.5 wide and 7.5 tall, its shape doing the work rather than any applied emblem.
Stone urns of this footprint are usually chosen for a mantel, a hearth or an outdoor memorial garden, since the material handles temperature swings better than wood does. The overall size is adult scale rather than keepsake scale. Before ordering for a columbarium, check the niche against all three dimensions; the 10.5-inch length is the one most likely to cause trouble.

Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
