Prague Memory Box / Urn

Photographs, letters, a folded service card: this wooden box is built to keep those in the same place as the ashes, which is the whole point of a memory chest. It measures 12 inches wide by 8 deep and 8.5 inches tall, and the lid opens from the top.

Interior capacity is 200 cubic inches, enough for an adult up to about 200 pounds at the standard cubic inch per pound. Most families set it on a shelf or a dresser where it can actually be opened rather than sealing it away, and it is not intended for burial or for a columbarium niche. Check you have at least 8 inches of shelf depth before ordering.
