Purple Water Burial Small Urn

Small enough to hold in one hand, this urn measures six inches by five and a half and stands only two inches tall. It is purple paper throughout, with a side opening rather than a top or bottom one, which keeps the outer face unbroken. At this size it is a partial-portion urn, not a full adult one.

Capacity is 59 cubic inches, so it fits a child, a cat or a dog up to about 59 pounds, or one share of an adult's ashes when several family members are each taking some to scatter. It is often bought in twos and threes for exactly that reason. Set it on the water and it breaks down on its own; it can also be buried in a garden without a liner.
