Purple Water Burial Urn

This is the purple version of the water burial urn, made from the same biodegradable paper board and cut to the same flat 17 by 12 inch footprint. Colour is the only visible difference between them, but the capacity is not the same: this one takes 206 cubic inches rather than 240.

Two hundred and six cubic inches fits an adult of about 206 pounds or under. If the person weighed more than that, the sand or blue version at 240 cubic inches is the safer choice. The side opening lets you fill the urn while it lies flat, and the whole piece is designed to release the ashes into the water within minutes of being set down.
