Red Heart Stainless Ash Urn

Roughly three quarters of an inch tall, this is a stainless steel heart finished in a deep red that holds its color without chipping the way enamel can. It fits inside a closed hand. The seam is barely visible: the top screws down into the body, so from any distance it looks like a solid object rather than a container.

Capacity is a quarter of a cubic inch, which is a token amount, roughly a teaspoon. It is not the urn for a full set of ashes and should not be bought as one. What it does well is give one person something small to keep in a pocket, a drawer or a jewelry box while the ashes themselves stay together elsewhere. Fill it with a small funnel, screw the top down, and wipe the outside clean.
