Abalone shell is set into the brass across the whole body of this urn, so the surface shifts between green, blue and pink as the light moves. It is the most worked piece in the range, and the price reflects the amount of inlay rather than any difference in size.
The urn measures 8 by 8 inches at the base and stands 10.5 inches tall, holding 220 cubic inches. That covers an adult of up to about 220 pounds under the one cubic inch per pound rule. It loads from the top with the lid removed, and it is heavy enough that two hands are sensible when it is full.
- Shell inlay: dust it dry, and keep it away from solvents and polish
- Medallion engraving available for a name, dates or a short line
- 220 cu in, matched to an adult of up to roughly 220 lb

Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
