Reverence Earth Stone

Earth tones move through this stone in bands of sand, ochre and brown, so no two pieces are marked in quite the same way. It stands 11 inches tall on an 8.5 inch base and takes ashes in through the top.

Capacity is 220 cubic inches, which by the one cubic inch per pound rule fits an adult of up to about 220 pounds. The warm coloring is the reason people pick it over the grey and black versions of the same shape; it sits better in a room with wood furniture and warm light than a dark urn does, and it photographs less starkly than the photograph on this page suggests.
