Scattering tubes like this one are built to be opened once. The body is a biodegradable cylinder, five inches across and twelve and a half tall, printed with an image of smooth rocks lying under clear water. It opens at the top so the ashes leave in a controlled stream rather than a cloud.
It works for earth burial too, where the tube breaks down along with everything inside it. What it is not is a display urn: there is no seal and no threaded closure, so it should not stand on a mantel for years. No capacity figure is published for this model, so if you are matching it to a specific body weight, ask us before ordering.
- Measures 5 by 5 inches at the base and stands 12.5 inches tall.
- Single use, for scattering or burial rather than long-term display.
- Carry it in the box it arrives in, since the tube dents under a firm grip.

Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
