Sand Water Burial Small Urn

This is the sand-colored version of the same six-inch water burial urn, a neutral finish instead of the purple. It stands two inches tall, opens at the side, and is made of paper with nothing added that would sink or persist. It is one of the least expensive ways to do a water release properly.

The 59 cubic inch capacity makes it a partial or small-body urn: a child, a cat, a dog up to about 59 pounds, or one person's share when a family is dividing ashes between several scatterings. Because it is light and low, it does not need to be lowered carefully; it can be placed on the surface by hand from a boat or a low dock.
