Shasta Companion Cedar Wood Urn

Cedar gives this companion urn its scent as much as its grain - open it and you get the smell that comes with a cedar chest. The box measures 12 inches long, 8 inches deep, and 7.5 inches tall, and it opens through a panel in the base rather than at the top.

Four hundred cubic inches is the full companion figure: two adults of up to about 200 pounds each, at a cubic inch per pound of body weight. Bottom-opening urns are filled upside down on a table and the panel screwed back on, the arrangement funeral directors prefer because nothing interrupts the display face. It is built for a mantel or a shelf at home.
