Oak is lighter in tone and more openly grained than walnut, and this is the same Shasta chest cut in it: 10 inches long, 7.5 deep and 6.5 tall. The grain runs visibly across the front, which some families prefer to walnut's more uniform darkness.
Capacity is 210 cubic inches, matching an adult up to roughly 210 pounds. The base lifts away for filling and returns without any visible fastening on the sides. Oak takes engraving with a crisp edge, so a name and dates cut into the front stay legible from several feet away.
- 210 cu in, suiting an adult up to about 210 lb

Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
