Shasta Walnut Wood Urn

American walnut is what separates this one from the oak version of the same urn: a darker, browner wood with a closer grain that photographs almost chocolate. The Shasta is a plain rectangular chest, 10.38 inches long, 7.31 deep and 6.25 tall, with no motif and no hardware on the face.
Capacity is 210 cubic inches, meaning an adult up to about 210 pounds by the one inch per pound rule. The base comes off for filling and goes back on out of sight. Its proportions suit a mantel or a shelf, and at just over 6 inches tall it clears most columbarium niches, but confirm the opening before you commit.
- Walnut lightens under years of daylight; keep it off a south-facing sill to hold the colour
- Solid walnut with no applied motif, so engraving reads cleanly on the front
- Free ground shipping, and the 10.38 inch length is the measurement to check against a niche, not the height

Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, ship the same day. Anything after that goes out the next business day. Delivery usually takes another 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.
Engraved pieces work to the same cutoff, with one difference: the clock starts when you approve the engraving proof, not when you place the order. If your service date is tight, tell us and we will flag it.
