Tear Gold Steel Keepsake

Shaped as a single teardrop, three eighths of an inch across and five eighths tall, this is one of the smallest pieces in the range. The base metal is steel and the gold tone is a finish on top of it, which is why it costs what it does rather than what solid gold would. Polished all over, no stone, no pattern.

The opening is on the bottom. A token amount of ashes goes in, well under a cubic inch, and the rest stays wherever the family has decided. Worn on a chain it sits high and small, close to the hollow of the throat. Fill it over paper with a small funnel; if it will be worn daily, have a jeweler put adhesive on the threads so it cannot work loose.
